While many are (very) ready to say goodbye to 2020, CTBK took a pause to recognize the achievements that have come through this unpredictable year. Effective December 2020 to make headway into 2021, the firm promoted 13 teammates — 5 managers and 8 seniors/administrative roles.
Management
Jessica Cousins, CPA
Jessica joined the firm in 2008 as a staff accountant, was promoted to Senior Accountant in 2011 and to a Manager in 2015. As a Canisius College graduate, Jessica has worked her way up the ladder at CTBK, bringing her to a Senior Manager title in 2020.
Adam Ferrante, CPA
Adam joined CTBK in 2012 and was promoted to Senior Accountant in 2015. Two years later, he was promoted to Manager, bringing him to his Senior Manager promotion in Dec. 2020. Adam is a Canisius College graduate.
Kevin Basta, CPA
Kevin began his CTBK journey in 2014 as a summer intern and continued this internship in 2015 over the summer while attending Niagara University. In 2016, Kevin was signed on as a staff accountant, being promoted to Senior Accountant after just two years. Kevin ends 2020 with a promotion to Manager.
Kaitlyn Affuso
Kaitlyn started as a Marketing Coordinator at CTBK in the fall of 2019 having a handful of years of experience in the marketing and journalism fields following her undergrad at SUNY Plattsburgh. After her first year at the firm, Kaitlyn has been promoted to Marketing Manager.

Chris Blatner
Chris started at CTBK as a Canisius grad in June 2018 and has been promoted to Senior Accountant.
Paige Pedini
Paige started at CTBK in the summer of 2016 as an intern and again as a winter intern in 2018 while attending Canisius College. She was hired as a staff accountant in 2018 and now takes the title of Senior Accountant.
Ed Enright, CPA
Ed began as a summer intern in 2017 while attending Canisius College. He was hired as a Staff Accountant in 2018 and during his two years in this role, he earned his CPA before being promoted to Senior Accountant in 2020.
Damian Powers, CPA
Damian was hired as a Staff Accountant in the Fall of 2018 as a Le Moyne University grad and after two years at the firm and earning his CPA, has been promoted to Senior Accountant.
Morgan Sansbury
Morgan, a UB grad, began his CTBK career in March 2019 as a Staff Consultant. In just a little over a year, Morgan has been promoted to Senior Consultant.
Janice Hyers
Janice started at CTBK as an Analyst in Jan. 2017 and has been promoted to Senior Analyst. Janice is a Bryant & Stratton College graduate.
Paula Iacono
Paula started as an Analyst in Jan. 2019 and has been promoted to Senior Analyst. Paula is a Empire State College graduate.
Maria Baynes, SHRM-SCP
Maria began at CTBK as an HR Intern while studying at SUNY Buffalo. She was hired as HR Coordinator in 2017 and attended Niagara University graduate school, as well as earned her title as a Senior Certified Professional through the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM-SCP). Maria has been promoted to Senior HR Associate.
Jessica DePetrocellis, CPA
Jessica was hired as a Staff Accountant in 2011 and was promoted to Assistant Controller in 2014. Jessica has been promoted to Controller. She is a Niagara University graduate.
