Mary Ellen Mitchell is a Principal at CTBK, specializing in tax services for investment partnerships and multi-state operating businesses. She works closely with clients to navigate complex tax structures and reporting requirements, bringing decades of experience and a steady, practical approach to her work. Prior to joining CTBK, Mary Ellen held roles at various companies, further shaping her perspective across both public accounting and industry. 

At CTBK, Mary Ellen contributes to the firm’s tax process initiatives and brings a thoughtful, experienced voice to her team. Outside of work, she enjoys life on her horse farm with her husband and family, including her daughter and five grandchildren, and is a longtime Buffalo Bills fan. She previously served on the board of the Child Care Resource Network for six years, including three as President.
